Peggy Sheahan Knee

Peggy Sheahan Knee concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, elder law, and business planning. She has twenty-five years of experience in these specialized areas. Ms. Knee has represented both clients with limited means and clients who have substantial net worth. She is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and she is a frequent lecturer and speaker on topics related to her practice area. Ms. Knee previously served as President of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She also served as past Chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, past Chair of the Women in the Profession Section and a member of the Taxation Section. Ms. Knee is a former member of the Board of Directors of The New Jersey Lawyer; she is a member of the Bergen County Bar and American Bar Associations, Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and Past President of the Northern New Jersey Estate Planning Council. Ms. Knee has been certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, an organization accredited by the American Bar Association. Ms. Knee is the author of “New Jersey Probate and Estate Administration” and co-author of New Jersey Elder Law” which are both part of the LexisNexis Practice Guide series, published by Lexis Nexis.
Ms. Knee is a graduate of Fordham College and Fordham Law School, and she also holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Florida and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.

Robert A. Knee
Robert A. Knee concentrates his practice in contested estates and estate litigation, corporate and commercial law, real estate, estate planning and administration, and elder law. Mr. Knee has represented numerous parties in estate litigation matters, including will contests, contested accountings and contested guardianships. In addition, Mr. Knee has represented many corporate and commercial clients in matters ranging from the formation of their business, residential and commercial real estate closings, leasing and financing, purchase and sale of business entities, negotiation of business agreements and dissolution of business entities.
Mr. Knee is a graduate of Duke University and Washington University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax and Supreme Courts. He is a Past Chair and a member of the Board of Consultors of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is a past editor of the Section’s newsletter.

Kimberly Rescorla
Associate Kimberly Rescorla concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, contested estates, estate litigation and elder law. Ms. Rescorla interned with the Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel in Newark, New Jersey. She also worked for the Department of Justice, Tax Division, Criminal Section in Washington, D.C.
Kimberly Rescorla graduated Seton Hall Law University School of Law in 2003 and graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with an LL.M in Taxation in 2005, with honors and distinction. Ms. Rescorla was admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey in 2004.
